JUDGMENT OF THE EMPLOYMENT TRIBUNAL The judgment of the tribunal is: (i) to dismiss the claim of unfair dismissal and (ii) to order the respondent to pay to the claimant the sum of £4211.57 (gross) in respect of four weeks’ notice which the respondent accepted was due to be paid to the claimant.
REASONS
1. The claimant presented a claim to the Employment Tribunal on the 18 August 2025 alleging he had been unfairly dismissed and that 4 weeks’ notice pay was outstanding.
2. The respondent entered a response in which it denied the claimant had been dismissed and asserted there had been a mutual termination of employment in circumstances where the claimant had wanted to pursue being self- employed.
