JUDGMENT UPON hearing from the parties, IT IS THE TRIBUNAL’S JUDGMENT THAT the claims for disability discrimination and for harassment related to disability were not presented in time. It is just and equitable to extend time however so they are deemed presented in time. Therefore the Tribunal has jurisdiction to hear and decide them and they may proceed accordingly.
REASONS
1. Listed by order of Employment Judge Rachel Broughton on 30 October 2024, the purpose of this preliminary hearing is to decide if it is just and equitable to extend the time within which the claimant might present his claims for disability discrimination and for disability-related harassment. It is accepted that they are out of time.
