REASONS Introduction

2. The first is a claim for unfair dismissal. The respondent’s position is that the claimant was fairly dismissed by reason of conduct. The second claim is one of wrongful dismissal, the question being whether the claimant committed gross misconduct such as to entitle the respondent to terminate the contract 5 without notice.
