JUDGMENT OF THE EMPLOYMENT TRIBUNAL 20 1. The claimant was a worker within the definition of section 230(3)(b) of the Employment Rights Act 1996;

2. The claimant was subject to an unlawful deduction from his wages, contrary to section 13 of that Act;

3. The respondent is therefore ordered to pay the claimant the sum of £543.60 25 in compensation for the sum unlawfully deducted.
