REASONS Background
1. The claimant has been employed by the respondent as a Senior Executive Officer (“SEO”) from 10 March 2003. He remains in their employ. ACAS early conciliation started on 1 August 2023 and ended on 31 August 2023. The claim form was presented on 27 September 2023. The claim is about indirect race discrimination. It revolves round not being appointed to a grade 7 role.
